ByteBuddy End User License Agreement (EULA)
📜 License Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and ByteBuddy Team for the ByteBuddy software product ("Software").
IMPORTANT
This is BETA SOFTWARE. By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.
1. Grant of License
ByteBuddy Team grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Install and use the Software on multiple development machines
- Use for both personal and commercial projects during the beta period
- Evaluate the Software and provide feedback
Beta Period
This license is valid only during the beta testing phase. Licensing terms may change for future releases.
2. Restrictions
You may NOT:
- Redistribute, sublicense, lease, rent, or sell the Software
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
- Circumvent any technical limitations or security features
3. Privacy Commitment
🔒 Local Processing
All AI processing occurs locally on your machine. Your code never leaves your computer unless you explicitly choose to share it.
📊 Data Collection
We do NOT collect:
- Your source code or projects
- AI prompts or conversations
- Personal identification information
- Sensitive or proprietary data
📈 Optional Analytics
Anonymous usage analytics may be collected only with your explicit consent to help us improve the Software.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
IMPORTANT
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ByteBuddy Team disclaims all warranties and conditions, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The Software is in BETA and may:
- Contain bugs, errors, or defects
- Have incomplete or missing features
- Cause data loss or system instability
- Not perform as described in documentation
You assume all risks associated with the use of the Software.
5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of:
- Your source code and projects
- AI-generated code and outputs
- Custom configurations and settings
🛡️ Our Software
ByteBuddy Team retains all intellectual property rights to:
- The ByteBuddy plugin software
- User interface and design elements
- Documentation and branding materials
💡 Feedback License
By providing feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions, you grant ByteBuddy Team a perpetual, worldwide license to use your feedback to improve the Software.
6. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BYTEBUDDY TEAM BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Loss of data or profits
- Business interruption
- Computer failure or malfunction
- Any other commercial damages or losses
7. Termination
This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any terms.
Upon termination, you must:
- Cease all use of the Software
- Destroy all copies of the Software in your possession
- Remove the Software from all devices

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By installing and using ByteBuddy, you acknowledge that you have read this agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
If you are accepting on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
